The Production Prototype

We’ve been working up the spec for the production prototype over the last few weeks. It’s going to have a lightweight African mahogany body with a figured maple cap, and mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard and abalone dot inlays. The finish will be a lovely deep red double stain with natural binding (the ‘fake binding’ effect used so nicely by PRS for example) under clear lacquer.

Hardware will be chrome Gotoh Wilkinson VS100 Trem, Seymour Duncan JB Trembucker and Quarter Pounder pickups, and Gotoh 510 locking tuners, also in chrome.
